The "Double 12 Suzhou Shopping Festival" organized by the Suzhou Bureau of Commerce has recently begun, showcasing a variety of traditional Suzhou brands and innovative products. The event aims to make it easier for more consumers to buy Suzhou's finest gifts.

In front of the Li Liang Ji booth on Guanqian Street, many visitors gather. Hu Jing, brand promotion manager of Li Liang Ji, explained that in recent years, Li Liang Ji has been getting creative with its products to cater to the preferences of young people.

They have designed herbal products that can be brewed or consumed directly, such as hawthorn and rose-flavored beverages. These products come in trendy packaging and are made with high-quality ingredients, meeting the diverse needs of consumers.

"Our main focus is on convenience. We’re aiming to change the impression that young people have of traditional brands and hoping to make them fall in love with them!" Hu said.

Lao Qing Tai specializes in lamb dishes and Suzhou cuisine. Their featured product this year is convenient pre-cooked dishes that can be heated over an open flame. Yang Shengping, assistant general manager of Lao Qing Tai, introduced the products to the crowd on-site.

Suzhou Tong Li Hong has launched a set of innovative, flavored wines with only 0.5 percent alcohol-by-volume, including grapefruit, mango, and peach flavors.

"These are mixed with milk, fruit juice, and alcohol, giving them a yogurt-like taste," said salesperson Guo Qiang.

This type of wine has quickly gained popularity among young consumers who prefer low-alcohol beverages. "Many young people nowadays don't like high-proof alcohol, so this wine is perfect for their gatherings, and recently, sales have been very good," Guo added.
