Prepare to tantalize your taste buds at Suzhou's Chinese New Year Food Festival!

Launched on Feb 4, the festival commenced with the city government announcing a generous allocation of 30 million yuan ($4.17 million) in digital RMB consumption vouchers for the Year of the Dragon.

Starting Feb 7, Suzhou residents can anticipate receiving 10 million yuan worth of retail and dining vouchers, followed by another 10 million yuan allocated for accommodation vouchers, and 10 million yuan for exclusive dining digital vouchers. Stay tuned to the "suzhoufabu365" official WeChat account to secure these vouchers and familiarize yourself with redemption and usage guidelines.

At the launch ceremony, Suzhou's iconic food districts took the spotlight, accompanied by the release of the recommended menu for 2024. The city's top "Ten Bowls" of delicacies made their grand debut, alongside the unveiling of the "Suzhou Food Guide," featuring 100 recommended dishes and eateries.

Suzhou cuisine is celebrated for its emphasis on seasonal ingredients and meticulous preparation. The traditional CNY Eve feast, comprising 31 courses, takes center stage in Suzhou's New Year celebrations.

Additionally, Suzhou's culinary craftsmanship is poised for inclusion in the eighth batch of Suzhou's intangible cultural heritage list.
