Launched on Feb 4, the festival commenced with the city government announcing a generous allocation of 30 million yuan ($4.17 million) in digital RMB consumption vouchers for the Year of the Dragon.
Starting Feb 7, Suzhou residents can anticipate receiving 10 million yuan worth of retail and dining vouchers, followed by another 10 million yuan allocated for accommodation vouchers, and 10 million yuan for exclusive dining digital vouchers.
