Swiss giant breaks ground in Suzhou Industrial Park

Endress+Hauser, a Swiss industrial leader in process control measurement instruments, commenced construction on its its high-end flow meter manufacturing base in the Suzhou Industrial Park on Oct 17.
The project involves a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($136.7 million), with the initial phase scheduled to begin operating by early 2025.
Once fully operational, this facility is expected to become Endress+Hauser Group's largest high-end flow meter production base in Asia, catering to global clients. Since its establishment in the park in 2002, Endress+Hauser has steadily expanded its presence, establishing four wholly-owned subsidiaries specializing in flow meters, automation instruments, analytical instruments, and temperature instruments.

According to Wei Qinxue, general manager of Endress+Hauser's flow meter division in China, this expansion project represents the group's largest high-end flow meter production base in the Asian region.
The plan also involves expanding existing production space for temperature instruments and analytical instruments in China, with an expected annual output value increase of over 1 billion yuan.
The Suzhou Industrial Park has already attracted over 5,000 foreign-funded enterprises, including 174 Fortune 500 projects and 118 multinational company headquarters.
