The Siemens Yangtze River Delta AI Lab was established in Suzhou on May 24.

Cao Lubao, Party secretary of Suzhou, and Norbert Gaus, executive vice-president at Siemens Corporate Technology, jointly unveiled the laboratory. Wu Qingwen, deputy Party secretary and mayor of Suzhou, attended the event.

Located in the Taihu Science City, the project is the first overseas AI lab established by Siemens and will focus on showcasing Siemens' innovative achievements and applications in AI and big data, software development, and process optimization.

Through collaboration and co-creation with regional enterprises, it aims to enrich application scenarios for next-generation technological innovations and provide new momentum for the digital transformation and talent cultivation of enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The establishment of the laboratory will also further expand Siemens' technological innovation layout in the Yangtze River Delta region and its global research and development system.
