The 2022 City Business Environment Innovation Report was officially released by the China Central Television on April 3.
Suzhou was named twice in the report, once for its market mechanism reforms and once for its optimization of public services.
Suzhou has long attached great importance to the construction of a healthy business environment.
Ten years ago, starting a business in Suzhou required about 33 items and took an average of about 25 days. Now it only requires six items and can be completed in half a day.
In 2022, the "exemption from punishment and light punishment" list for administrative law enforcement involving enterprises was upgraded to version 3.0 and involves 455 items.
The Suzhou Bureau of Commerce has launched 100 innovative reform measures related to institutional mechanism innovation.
Suzhou is also continuing to reduce market access thresholds and continuously increasing credit support by offering "small micro loans" and "credit easy loans", steadily improving the convenience of corporate financing.
