Suzhou actively promotes investment at 7th CIIE

During the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) held from Nov 5 to 10, the Suzhou Bureau of Commerce arranged for representatives of all sectors in Suzhou to attend the expo, giving them the chance to engage with exhibitors and attract investment.

A delegation of over 70 members from Zhangjiagang, a county-level city of Suzhou, visited various renowned domestic and international enterprises and trade associations to attract investment. The city also signed an agreement on a new project with DuPont on-site.

Kunshan, also a county-level city of Suzhou, sent 14 groups comprising more than 160 members to actively connect with over 200 well-known enterprises and institutions at CIIE. Kunshan also hosted a Coffee trade seminar, attracting over 50 enterprises and brands from more than 20 countries and regions, facilitating deeper cooperation among coffee-related enterprises.

Suzhou Industrial Park visited key enterprises within the district and reached a cooperation consensus with the R&D-based Pharmaceutical Association Committee (RDPAC) of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment.

Representatives of other business sectors in Suzhou also actively engaged with exhibitors, hosting roadshows and matchmaking events, and inviting exhibitors for on-site visits in hopes of future cooperation opportunities.
