Suzhou, a city in Jiangsu province, has established close economic and trade cooperation with France.
The L'Oréal Suzhou Intelligent Fulfillment Center, located in Suzhou Industrial Park, is L'Oréal's first self-built intelligent fulfillment center in the world.
L'Oréal already built its first factory – Beautycos International Co Ltd – in China in Suzhou Industrial Park, in 1996. The factory has been expanded for many times and is L'Oréal's largest production plant in the Asia-Pacific region.
At the end of 2022, the Suzhou economic and trade team visited L'Oréal on their first stop in Europe. The two sides discussed several issues, including the program of the Suzhou Intelligent Fulfillment Center.
More than 130 French-invested enterprises have set up operations in Suzhou so far, and investment has exceeded $1 billion.
Lin Tianshu, head of the Foreign-invested Enterprise Service Division of the Suzhou Bureau of Commerce, said that they will continue to provide high-quality service guarantees for foreign enterprises, including French enterprises.
As of October, Suzhou had invested in 14 projects in France and agreed investment had exceeded $48 million.
