Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu province was ranked first in the "2022 Consumer Satisfaction Evaluation Report for 100 Cities" released by the China Consumers Association on March 14.

This is the second year in a row that Suzhou has topped the ranking.

Produced annually by the China Consumers Association since 2017, the report measures consumer satisfaction levels based on feedback from consumers.

The evaluation takes into account consumer supply, consumer environment, and consumer rights protection.

In the latest report, Suzhou was followed by Qingdao, Hangzhou, Yantai, Nanjing, Foshan, Wuxi, Xiamen, Beijing, and Yichang.

The Suzhou government has attached great importance to the improvement of consumer satisfaction levels. In April 2020, the Suzhou government launched the nation's first offline unconditional return service. In 2021, Suzhou introduced China's first municipal specification for offline unconditional return service.

On Oct 28, 2022, the 100,000th store committed to unconditional return service was unveiled in Kunshan, Suzhou.

According to local authorities, the city will continue to strengthen the foundations of consumer rights protection and explore new models and paths for the construction of a "Suzhou-style" consumer environment.
