German automated machinery manufacturer Ruhlamat opened its Asia Pacific headquarters in the Suzhou Industrial Park on March 30.
Oliver Bürgstein, managing director of Ruhlamat Automation Technologies (Suzhou), said during the opening ceremony that the company's Suzhou subsidiary has achieved localized design and production in the Chinese market and sold their products to nearly 20 countries and regions.

According to Bürgstein, the German company's Asia Pacific headquarters will seek new development possibilities in Suzhou's innovative environment.
Suzhou utilized $3.18 billion of foreign capital from January to February this year, an increase of 22.2 percent year-on-year, according to the Suzhou Bureau of Commerce.
