He added that Suzhou is a livable city with many strengths. It will continue to provide a good environment for enterprises to develop and offer support to projects. As the world's largest cosmetics group, L'Oréal has been cooperating with Suzhou since the 1990s. Xu expected L'Oréal to increase investment in Suzhou and develop more new projects, technologies, and products in the city.

In addition, Santen Pharmaceutical Co has invested in a new production base with the largest production capacity in the world in Suzhou. Xu said that the city will offer its full support to the project's construction. Suzhou also looks forward to further cooperation with the company in advanced manufacturing, research and development, sales, and the construction of headquarters.
