The China Medical Equipment Conference and 2021 Medical Equipment Exhibition were held at the Suzhou International Expo Center from July 15 to 18.
With the slogan "Intelligent Connection of Supply and Demand, Innovative Development", the conference covers an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters and is displaying 11,080 products.
A total of 192 themed forums and special conferences were held during the event. A total of 26,000 people participated, making it the largest such conference ever and the world's largest medical professional conference.
Officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Development Research Center of the State Council, and the State Food and Drug Administration attended the meeting and interpreted policies related to medical equipment in 2021 based on current epidemic prevention and control work.
More than 1,200 experts and 2,000 hospital deans participated in special academic reports and technical exchange activities. Internationally renowned Fortune 500 companies and medical businesses including Siemens, Philips, General Electric, Varian, Canon, Olympus, Mindray, and Braun Medical participated in the exhibition.
The China Medical Equipment Conference and Medical Equipment Exhibition is sponsored by the China Medical Equipment Association and organized by Beijing Guoweijiahe Medical Equipment Technical Service Co and Suzhou Huijie Exhibition Co.
It has been held four times since its establishment in Suzhou in 2017. In 2020, it was held online due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
