The Suzhou International Biomedical Industry Expo was held in Suzhou Industrial Park on July 10-12. The expo consisted of conferences, exhibitions, competitions, and personnel exchanges.
Top scientists, new drug leaders, and guests from government management departments, industrial parks, universities, scientific research institutions, and enterprises gathered on the shores of Jinji Lake to discuss the innovation and development of China's biomedical industry and build a global biomedical industry community with a shared future.
With the slogan "Science and Technology Innovation, Open Innovation, Economic and Trade Innovation and Industrial Innovation", the expo mainly focused on technological innovation breakthroughs, open innovation cooperation, international economic and trade cooperation, project achievement transformation, and the display of innovation achievements.
It also launched sub-sections such as the Global Biomedical Frontier Technology Conference and Frontier Technology Exhibition, China Medical Equipment Conference, and Medical Equipment Exhibition.
The Expo is guided by the Suzhou Municipal People’s Government, supported by the Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee, hosted by the National Biopharmaceutical Technology Innovation Center, and undertaken by the Suzhou Biopharmaceutical Industry Innovation Center.
The expo gathered the world’s top innovative resources to promote cooperation, exchanges, and achievement transformation. It aims to further attract the world's top personnel and projects, empower the innovative development of the biomedical industry, and develop the park and Suzhou into world-class landmarks of the international biomedical industry.
In recent years, Suzhou has attached great importance to the development of the biopharmaceutical industry, and aims to build it into a trillion-level “China Medicine Valley”. As the core area of the industry, Suzhou Industrial Park has become the biomedical industrial park with the highest level of development and strongest industrial and personnel competitiveness in China.
