A cuff link with gold-thread magnolia flowers embroidered on it is another CIIE souvenir designed by master Yao Jianping and her team. The magnolia is the city flower of Shanghai and represents the spirit of pioneering and forward-looking. [Photo/WeChat account: snd-szgxqfb]
The Fragrance of Magnolia Flowers, an embroidery work which is 12.5 meters long and 4.7 meters high, is a gift presented by master Yao to the first CIIE. It took master Yao and her team of 200 a total of 100 days to complete the work.
